You survived. Now it’s time to recover.
Specialist trauma therapy for adults recovering from narcissistic abuse, coercive control and childhood trauma
You are in the right place
Perhaps you've spent years wondering why you think, feel and respond the way you do.
You may constantly question yourself, struggle to trust your own judgement, or feel responsible for everyone else's happiness. Perhaps you find yourself walking on eggshells, putting other people's needs before your own, or feeling guilty for setting boundaries. You might recognise the same painful relationship patterns repeating, yet still wonder why you keep ending up in the same place.
If this feels familiar, there may be a very understandable reason.
As a trauma therapist, I work with adults recovering from childhood trauma, narcissistic abuse, coercive control, domestic violence, complex PTSD and other relational difficulties. The thoughts, feelings and survival strategies that once helped you cope can continue to shape your confidence, relationships and sense of self long after those experiences have ended. The good news is that these patterns can change.
Lasting change begins with understanding
One of the most powerful moments in therapy is when people stop asking, "What's wrong with me?" and begin asking, "Given everything I've been through, it's understandable that I feel this way."
When your experiences begin to make sense, shame starts to lose its grip. Self-criticism gives way to self-compassion, and instead of fighting against yourself, you begin to understand yourself.
My role is to help you make those connections. I'll help you understand how trauma has shaped your emotions, relationships and nervous system, explaining what's happening in ways that are clear, practical and meaningful. For many people, that understanding brings an enormous sense of relief and becomes the foundation for growth.
From surviving to thriving
Understanding is only the beginning. Together, we'll turn that understanding into meaningful, lasting change.
We'll work towards you trusting your own judgement instead of constantly doubting yourself. Knowing your worth instead of seeking it from others. Setting healthy boundaries without overwhelming guilt. Recognising unhealthy relationship patterns earlier and no longer accepting treatment that falls below the respect and care you deserve.
My aim is that therapy creates changes that extend far beyond our sessions. I want you to leave with the confidence to make decisions that reflect your values, the emotional resilience to navigate life's challenges without losing yourself, and the freedom to build healthier relationships and a life that is no longer defined by survival, but by choice.
